Preschool Daycare Lead Teacher

Love kids and love Jesus?  This is the place for YOU!  We offer a fun, positive, and collaborative work environment with competitive pay, benefits for full time employees, tuition discounts and MORE!  We are actively hiring a lead teacher for our 3 year old classroom.  We do follow 1:10 classromm ratios.  Our classroom space can accomodate up to 24 children, but our goal is to keep this class to an average of 16 students.  This position pays $16 - $19/hr depending on expereince and education. Shift would run from 8-4pm.  Responsibilities for this position include the following:

  1. Manage the daily routine and overall supervision of the classroom

  2. Implement the approved curriculum and develop supplemental activities if necessary

  3. Report discipline concerns to the Pre-K or Academy Director

  4. Assess each child’s developmental needs on an ongoing basis

  5. Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment for children

  6. Communicate needs for the classroom to the Pre-K Director. This includes maintaining inventory of classroom supplies and equipment as well as any additional needed materials

  7. Post updates, pictures and more to Brightwheel. Respond to any parent communication via Brightwheel

  8. Plan any extra classroom events such as holiday parties

  9. Provide instruction and direction to Classroom Assistant

  10. Attend all required trainings, meetings, and daycare events

  11. Promote StoneBridge and it’s activities as appropriate to families

  12. Fulfill other assignments from the Pre-K or Academy Director
