Position: Full or Part Time, PM Hours
Job Description:
StoneBridge Academy in Omaha is seeking a caring and dedicated Assistant Infant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with infants and providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for their development. As an assistant infant teacher, you will work closely with our lead teachers to support the daily activities and routines of our infant classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing a safe and healthy environment for infants
- Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities
- Help with feeding, diapering, and other basic care routines for infants
- Engage in play and other interactions to promote social and cognitive development
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and needs
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with infants in a childcare setting preferred
- Strong understanding of infant development and care practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required, Child Development Associate (CDA) credential a plus
