Daycare Lead Toddler Teacher

We are seeking a nurturing and experienced individual to join our team as a Daycare Lead Toddler Teacher at StoneBridge Academy - Omaha in Omaha, NE. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a safe, stimulating, and positive learning environment for our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a classroom of toddlers, ages 1-2 years old, in daily activities and routines
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
• Provide a warm and nurturing environment for children to thrive in
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
• Ensure the health and safety of all children in your care
• Monitor and document children's progress and behavior
• Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with toddlers in a daycare or preschool setting
• Knowledge of child development and early childhood education principles
• Must be able to lift 20lbs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• High school diploma or equivalent; Early Childhood Education credentials preferred
