Daycare Assistant Toddler Teacher

Join Our Team as a Assistant Toddler Teacher!

Are you passionate about early childhood education and eager to make a positive impact on the lives of young children? StoneBridge Academy is seeking a nurturing and dedicated toddler assistant teacher to join our team in Northwest Omaha, NE full time.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with toddlers, providing them with a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities for toddlers
  • Supervise and interact with toddlers to promote their social, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Support the Lead Teacher in maintaining a clean and organized classroom
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with young children
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for early childhood education
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
