Daycare Assistant Teacher

Flexible full and part time positions are available between our open hours of 7am and 6pm. Based on age of children in the classroom responsibilities may include:

  1. Assist in the implementation of the approved curriculum and develop supplemental activities if necessary
  2. Report discipline concerns to the Lead Teacher
  3. Partner and communicate with parents as we work together to provide a safe place and excellent education for their children
  4. Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment for children
  5. Help reinforce rules of behavior for children
  6. Assist kids with bathroom breaks and handwashing as well as at meal and snack times
  7. Diaper changing and assisting with eating as needed
  8. Manage the room and teach lessons when the lead teacher is absent
  9. Assist Lead Teacher in posting updates, pictures and more to Brightwheel
  10. Attend all required trainings, meetings, and daycare events
  11. Promote StoneBridge and it’s activities as appropriate to families
  12. Fulfill all other assignments from the Assistant Daycare Director
